GIZMO ON THE BEACH

If my Daddy asked me , if I wanted to go to the beach then I go crazy in trying to tell him yes I want to go.

I hate hate hate when Daddy puts me in the water but I love chasing the little grabs on the beach and being with my Daddy for the day.

PAINTING GARDEN STEPPING STONES

Working in the garden this week I noticed some more Blank Canvas”s just laying around begging to be transformed into RONNIE DEAN ART .

I started with a coat of concrete  sealer and let them dry for 24 hours.

Now the fun begins , sketch out your image or use carbon paper to trace your design and you are ready to add you color , remember to add your shadows and high lights to make every thing stand out.

Let your paint dry for 24 hours and finish it off with a high gloss clear coat sealer and let that dry 24 hours before placing them in your garden. enjoy !!!!

September Art Project Completed

Aloha , I hope you have enjoyed Septembers Art Project.

There were some challenges along the way , being the project took place out side with the elements keeping dust and dirt off the paint and sealers was a challenge.

The solution was to tape off the lanai with plastic enclosing the lanai .

Over all it was a simple project , letting the paint layers completely dry before adding another layers seemed to work best. I went with a 24 hour time line before moving forward with each layer.

What a great way to bring charm to any garden or patio ,

we are loving it .

September Art Project Stage 7

We are ready for the 1st layer of clear coat , I may use many but it is important to let each layer dry 24 hours before adding your next coat.

I am using a clear concrete sealer with a high gloss and  should give you the effect of wet concrete.

It will look like watered down milk at first but will dry clear.

September Art Project Stage 6

Amazing what a little detail can do .

Letting your paint layers  dry over night is what I have found works best for this project.

September Art Project Stage 5

September Art Project Stage 4

Now we can see how layering paint can bring our pond together and now I can start with some details that will bring this to life.

I hope you enjoy what you see.
